Shitty Mood
fucking shit, I woke up 10 minutes after the time i was supposed to leave the house, i stormed out regardless, i miraculously made it for the carpool in time.
We integrated a pre-built module into our product here at work… PRE BUILT meaning we used this because it would save us a lot of time and resources!! however, there are always assholes that dont understand the work involved in programming, who make my life miserable by asking me to change things that require modifying the core of the system we didn’t build… FUCK…
I know it’s better for the product, thus better for the company thus better for me…. but seriuosly IT WORKS.. DONT MAKE ME BREAK IT OVER A FUCKING PIXEL OR TWO….
I look like shit, seriously, i cant deal wtih my hair, i look so fucking lame with this mop on my head, I only trust zak to cut my hair but it may be a while before she can do that.. balls in a bag….

Rims?
So my car came with the most hideous 17″ ’snowflake’ rims, EVEN MY MOM THINKS THEY’RE LAME so i need to do something about it, and that something, i think, is this:
A set of 17″ tenzo DC-5’s… gonna cost me a bit over a grand but it’ll be worth it to not have the lamest rims ever

so I have recently been feeling the limitations of having only one output on my macbook pro, one 1600×1200 monitor is not cutting it.
So I did some research to see what I can do to have more vewing area, and it seems like there is pretty much nothing available for macs to get such a thing done, closest thing is this $400 adaptor to connect two monitors to a single DVI output… the Matrox TripleHead2Go… no thanks…
Equally as shitty but cheaper option is just getting a higher res screen, and LUCKILY, there are these new 23″ displays coming out of korea, which are 2048×1150px.. that’s more pixels than a 24″ 1920×1200 display!!! (around 50k more pixels) which i have never been able to justify the price for. I first noticed them on dells and the dell price is about $350… which isnt’t too convincing. But i saw a Samsung 2343BW sporting the same panel for $299 at futureshop… so $299 for more pixels than a 24″…
So one night, with the intension of just killing time, i went into futureshop to just… have a look at the display, it didnt look too bad! The salesperson who came up to me was my sisters ex roommate who threw in a 5 year gurantee for free (usually $75). I didn’t have the intention of buying whatsoever, however he started taking it off the shelf… i couldn’t resist.. so i bought it, and plus, it’s big box so it’s not like i can’t return it.
So I plugged it into my macbook pro, and it was amazing, cubase, was , amazing.. Watching top gear on it, was amazing… i think i’m gonna keep it.
Pros: Cheap, Resolution, reliable brand.
Cons: TN type panel, so greys arent very distinct and i have seen better viewing angles, those no-button-buttons because it’s the cool thing to do these days thanks to the fucking iphone..

OMG REAL BALLASTS!!!111!
SO yeah… last week I bought some HID ballasts off some dude on HIDPlanet.
So these are it, Real Genuine OEM Desnso HID Ballasts out of a Lexus…
Why did i buy them? I have no idea… do i need them? probably not…
Why do I think I bought them? well, they seemed like a good price, and also, I can now claim i have a pair of OEM ballasts instead of cheap chinese knockoff kit ballasts.

only problem is that the genuine goods arent waterproof, they need to be sealed or put into an enclosure, wheras the kit is already weatherproofed..
anyhow, now I have a real ballast.. I am no longer a OEM HID Ballast Virgin..
